Dr Lisa Penny
MB ChB, MRCS Ed (A&E), FRCA

Lisa has been an Anaesthetic Consultant in Hereford for ten years. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 1995 and then spent a number of years gaining experience and qualifications in Surgery and Emergency Medicine in Bristol, Oxford and Sydney, before gaining her Fellowship in Anaesthesia from the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2004.

She has special interests in patients with anxiety and special needs, and also practises at Hereford County Hospital where she enjoys her additional role as Head of the Hereford Academy for Undergraduate Education.

Personal life: She lives in Herefordshire with her husband, two daughters and numerous cats and horses!
